ABOUT

I am a painter and illustrator based in St. Louis, Missouri. I studied fine art and design at Webster University. I watch for metaphors in my garden and reflect on the natural world in my studio.

My family takes every opportunity we can to hike, float or camp in the beautiful landscapes of the Midwest. The wonder and respite of creation connects me to my place in time, the people I am with and my memories. My landscape paintings are an invitation to you to share in the noticing of light, atmosphere, and affect of these spaces. My favorite reaction to my work is when someone says, “I think I’ve been there!”
